What about licensing and IP rights?

We do not work on a “licensing” or “cost per user” type model: we give full ownership of the software to the client.

This means we don't put restrictions on, or charge fees for, increasing the number of users, for example.

• All intellectual property rights created in the project are granted to the Client.
• Clients have full access to source code, which is all clearly commented (this means that the developer has written notes to explain what each bit of code does – it’s very helpful for anyone else that looks at the programme in the future).
• Clients also have full rights to user manuals and similar.
• Where we use library code, intellectual property rights of that code remain with Cloud Street Ltd, but we provide Clients with rights to use that code for the purpose of the project.
