We use Microsoft technology platforms. This includes Microsoft SQL Server databases, .NET web and windows applications, and Microsoft Access databases and interfaces. We use Microsoft products because they are the most appropriate for our clients; they are widespread, robust, and well supported for both development and maintenance.

Databases may be hosted (accessed over the internet) or located within your office. 'Cloud computing' solutions are also now accessible and realistic for SME businesses.

We will advise you on the most suitable choice for your needs, and are used to working with clients with a range of levels of understanding of database and Internet technology. We will discuss specific software installation requirements with you from the outset.

To use your new database or business application, you may need to have Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server installed on your PCs/servers. We will discuss the specific software requirements with you from the outset.

  • FREE editions of Microsoft Access runtime are also available

We often build applications that interface with other business software (including non-Microsoft), with external data sources, or with desktop programmes. This includes Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe PDF, as well as more specialised programmes such as Sage Accounts and e-commerce payment solutions.
